Blackboard offers a complete suite of enterprise software products and services that powers e-Education infrastructure for schools, colleges, universities and other education providers around the world.
BSCW (Basic Support for Cooperative Work) enables collaboration over the Web. BSCW is a 'shared workspace' system which supports document upload, event notification, group management and more. Collaborative Software Development Laboratory Provides a physical, organizational, technological, and intellectual environment conducive to collaborative development of world-class software engineering skills. This is provided by the Department of Information and Computer Sciences University of Hawaii. CollabNet CollabNet solutions enable software teams to collaborate on development within an enterprise, integration with business partners, and adoption by customers. This site also contains papers on the use of the software. Comanche is a high performance platform for prototyping collaborative web applications. The Swiki / CoWeb is built on Comanche's framework. Comanche is an open source project, with support from numerous active users. Firstclass is a communications platform which helps educators further bridge the digital divide between schools and communities by providing them with a barrier free communications tool to collaborate, respond and share information more efficiently and effectively.
